In appearance this appealing truckle of cheese features a striking contrast between the pale yellow hue of the cheese and the mottled tan and green textured rind.

It boasts a rich savoury aroma that translates well on the palate.

For flavour the cheese is soft and creamy, with delicate notes of nuttiness. The clean lactic finish, with a touch of sourness, adds to its mature flavour. Our customers say it has a stronger, but similar, flavour to the famous Wensleydale that comes from a neighbouring valley.

The mouthfeel is rich and creamy and leaves a clean finish with a pleasant length on the palate that is a true sign of a quality cheese.
